This Week at CrossTrain

CrossTrain's Athletes have had a rewarding week to show for all of their hard work that they put into their strength and conditioning. Our younger athletes started the ball rolling last Saturday when Tom Davies and Oliver Venni played key roles as Leys beat the Purse in Cambridge schools U16's local derby. Tom Davies scored an important try before Oliver kicked the winning penalty in the 8-5 victory.

Cambridge CRUFC gained a much needed victory at home to Sedgley Tigers with a 41 unanswered second half points in a 52-17 bonus point win.

Pat Tapley got Cambridge on the way with a first minute try.

Further good news followed as CrossTrain's Tom Fidler and Pat Tapley, along with fellow Cambridge team mate Steve Hipwell, were selected into the England Counties squad for next years Internationals against Ireland and France.

As ever all our other personal training clients have continued to advance towards their goals this week. Well done and keep up the good work all of you, whether your continuing to loose unwanted fat or setting new personal bests in the gym.

One last mention should go to Matt Dunn who has been consistently pushing himself since training with us last summer, and finally got a well deserved call up to the Cambridge squad for tomorrows clash with table toppers Ealing.
